Comparing a seven-month day
The same wake-up time can produce different-looking days when nap lengths or intervals change. Choose the values you want to explore and compare the output with your own record. The number-of-naps selector is a scenario control; selecting fewer naps does not mean your baby is ready for a nap transition.
The assumptions behind this example
The starting scenario uses 3 naps of 60 minutes, 135 minutes awake before each nap and 165 minutes before bedtime. These are editable editorial examples, not medically established limits for every 7-month-old. The tool adds your chosen durations; it does not predict sleep or assess whether the pattern meets your baby’s needs.
| Moment | Example time |
|---|---|
| Morning wake-up | 7:00 AM |
| Nap 1 | 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM |
| Nap 2 | 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM |
| Nap 3 | 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM |
| Bedtime | 7:30 PM |
Keep the real day in view
Follow feeding needs, your baby’s cues and your clinician’s guidance. Record interruptions as part of the day instead of treating them as failures. Place babies on their backs for sleep and follow current safe-sleep guidance. For changes over several nights, a simple sleep diary can give you better conversation notes than repeatedly adjusting a sample timetable.
